Great Invention

I think airplane is a great invention, and it was really change our life. First, before the plane was invented, people wanted to go another country must by ship. It could spend much time on the ship, maybe a week till a month. And now, we can go to any country you want, it just spend few hours by airplane. Second, we can go to any long distend cities, states or countries very convenience. And we can travel everywhere to visit many different races and cultures. That shortens the distend; therefore, we can meet our friends or family anytime as long as the scheduled flights run. it also shortens the distend between the people. Finally, we can make the dream come true because before the plane was invent, and we can't fly like birds. However, we can fly by plane now.

Television is a great invention, too. It gives our life more convenience to get information. First, we can know everything on TV news and unnecessary go out. We just turn on the TV and we will get the message from any place in the word. Next, to watch TV is the best choice to spend our free time. Sometimes we have free time and don't know what to do, we can sit down on the sofa and relax our body, then turn on the TV to watch some interesting programs. Baseball games, movies, news, soap opera, else. So, we won't feel boring in our free time. Finally, we also can learn or study on TV because there are some educational programs like "Discovery", or kids' programs, in my country we have the TV programs that teach people to study English. We can learn about something we don't know and develop our knowledge. Therefore, TV is the invention witch really changes our life, otherwise, life will be bored. I believe a man-made satellite is another great invention and it is very helpful to our life for several reasons. First, a man-made satellite can connect communications system with many stations in the same time. So, we can get information and messages very quickly. Second, we can use it to reconnoiter the weather in everywhere on the earth, and even scout the natural resources under the surface of the earth. And then, we can know the military actions of other countries and we can to prevent the war to happen. In concluding, airplane, television, and a man-made satellite are great inventions; likewise, they are really make our life very convenience and comfortable.

Yvette, I hadn't thought about the satellite, but you are absolutely right.  Many of the inventions that we use today require the use of satellites, the Internet included.  Satellite technology is actually quite amazing, and it seems that most of us really take it for granted.  Great journal.
