北京X-地: 跳城 X-Field Beijing: Jumping City

这里有两张组合的图片在呼应何叟所提出的展览主题 ─“ 跳城 ” 。我想指出城市中虽然有许多像小岛般的高档开发区，而逼出了 “ 城跳 ” ，不过， “ 占个地儿 ” 在中国社会是一个根本且日常的活动，尤其是在过渡的状态下快速去抢占空间的现象； 由于庞大数量的人口，我们常常顾虑到自己在城市中的落脚之处。因此，每一个人都知道如何因应外界状态而行动或反应，以超越现况成为一种好玩儿的生活方式。这可以算得上是一种中国功夫么？

Here are two montages to respond to the theme, jumping city, which Sand Helsel proposed for the exhibition. Instead of seeing those capital islands for higher caste driving the occurrence of city jumpers, I tend to show that territorial occupation, especially to move fast and take a space in transitory conditions, is essential and an everyday practice in Chinese society. Due to the great number of population, we are always anxious about our footholds in the city. Thus, everyone acknowledge how to act or react to surrounding situations as if transcending into a playful way of life. Would it be considered as a part of therapeutic Kung Fu?
