Recipe: Curry squid resotto 1/2 by Chef Thomas

19/Sep/2010 Typhoon Fanapi visited Taiwan, we made a great dish for it~

Chef  Thomas recipe: Curry squid resotto.

We did an experiment of mix-cereal, cutie small potatos, and carrots cooked  in the same electric pot together.

We didn't have time to cook rice into resotto directly from hot pot....

Who knows what will happened.... Maybe both ingridients will ruined into congee.....

The prepareration: fresh squid*2, green onion, garlic, ginger, red pepper.

And, black sugar with the soy sauce.

And, the Indian curry powder~

This one only cost 30 NT dollars~ bought it from the traditional grocery shop around the street corner.

Smells great~

breaking  the expensive image of Japanese premade curry sauce.

It does the great job as well~

Perfect match with the seafood, also.

Slice the squid for cleaning first .

The #1 squid is male~ only the seminal vesicle inside the body~

The #2 squid is female, with millions of squid eggs inside.

The amazing point is she even swollow a  fish inside the stomach.

The size is bigger than her small mouth....

The squid have 10 feet, maybe should be 2 arms and 8 legs....specific differences of Cephalopoda(頭足綱)~ Octopus has  8 arms~

Jian Jian~~~ The experimental result  is great~

The small potatos and carrots were just well done with the mix cereal.

Save the time and energy for boiling the  potatos  in advance.
